Do you think he is serious about us?

Been dating for five months now and will meet the parents this month, but have not met the friends yet. Should I be concerned about this? How can I tell if he is serious? he is moving soon and he could move close to me or not. Guess if he moves close to me i will know his level of seriousness and if not then it will be obvious...any thoughts?
